Obtenir des erreurs 404 non trouvées lors de la mise à jour `sudo apt-get '

Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS \n \l

J'obtiens les erreurs suivantes en faisant sudo apt-get update, j'ai essayé sudo apt-get dist-upgradecomme recommandé ici mais rien ne semble résoudre le problème. Il ressort de la lecture d'autres questions relatives à ce problème que la version d'Ubuntu n'était plus prise en charge mais j'utilise la dernière version d'Ubuntu.

Supprimez la ligne qui lit deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu main universe restricted multiverse(et la ligne commentée après cela, si vous le souhaitez). Ensuite, courez sudo apt-get update. Il ne devrait pas y avoir d'erreurs maintenant.

Cela a résolu le problème, savez-vous pourquoi? Je n'ai pas ajouté ce référentiel moi-même, je pense qu'il a été ajouté lors de l'installation initiale d'Ubuntu.

La syntaxe (pour les dépôts Ubuntu par défaut) est incorrecte. Juste après l'URL, la version de la distribution ( trusty) y va généralement, suivie des différentes sections du dépôt (une ou plusieurs sont autorisées). Voir les autres URL pour la syntaxe.

Notez que si vous avez utilisé la commande dans la deuxième solution, vous souhaiterez peut-être également activer / ajouter la mise à jour du correctif et la mise à jour de sécurité.

Pour remplacer toutes vos URL obsolètes par les URL http://archive.ubuntu.comde travailhttp://old-releases.ubuntu.com

Cette réponse est destinée aux versions qui dépassent la limite de prise en charge. Dans le cas de cette question, 14.04 LTS est toujours sous support.

Commencez par exécuter sudo apt-get -y upgradecorrectement apt-get.

Ensuite, vous pouvez exécuter des commandes telles que:

sudo apt-get -y update
sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade

sans obtenir l'erreur "404 Not Found".

C'était la meilleure solution pour moi. Les autres réponses m'ont obligé à modifier directement les fichiers qui sont généralement maintenus automatiquement et je n'étais pas à l'aise avec cela.
