Est-il possible de me débarrasser de la traduction? J'en ai marre que cela entraîne des tonnes de vérifications de référentiel plutôt que de vérifier beaucoup moins de référentiels (69 mises en pension réelles contre 169 vérifications)

Pour désactiver le téléchargement des traductions, créez un fichier nommé /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99translations& mettez-le comme suit:

Acquire::Languages "none";

Vous devrez peut-être aussi supprimer les fichiers de traduction existants dans / var / lib / apt / lists /

Cela a fonctionné pour obtenir la plupart des éléments, mais les entrées avec TranslationIndex apparaissent toujours. Une idée comment supprimer ces?

Cela semble être bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=624218 qui devrait être corrigé dans la version d'apt dans 11.10

Pour la petite histoire (puisque certains vont trébucher là-dessus ..), le fichier 99Translations ci-dessus provoquera apt to barf - supprimez la ligne "Packages: *" - une seule ligne suffit:

Acquire::Languages "none";

En outre, apt récupérera toujours les fichiers pour votre langue / langue.

N'oubliez pas de lancer une sudo rm -r /var/lib/apt/lists/*Translation*commande pour supprimer tous les fichiers d'index de traduction existants après cela

Activez le traitement en pipeline pour traiter ces demandes en lots, ce qui est beaucoup plus rapide:

Acquire::http { Pipeline-Depth "200"; }

Mais selon mon expérience, cela peut entraîner des téléchargements interrompus. Les codes d'erreur http semblent se mettre en cascade ou quelque chose du genre. Cela devrait être assez sûr si vous parlez à apt-cacher-ng (en mode miroir ou en mode proxy). Sinon, préparez-vous à le désactiver si votre miroir se brise.

Je vous déconseille de définir les langues sur none, car elles se cassent apt-cache search(aucune ne signifie aucune, lorsque des recherches utiles nécessitent des descriptions dans au moins une langue). La valeur par défaut basée sur les paramètres régionaux inclut des variantes régionales inutiles, mais quelque chose comme ceci:

Acquire::Languages { "fr"; "en"; };

est raisonnable.

J'ai trouvé cela alors que je cherchais une solution aussi. Était une nouvelle installation de tester Debian. La commande suivante (comme suggéré ci-dessus) l'a corrigé:

sudo rm -r /var/lib/apt/lists/*

Testé sur le système Natty. Cela n'a pas résolu le problème dans Natty. Cependant, depuis que j'ai mis à niveau mon système principal vers Precise, je n'ai plus ce problème: P

Allez dans Support linguistique, puis cliquez sur Installer / Supprimer des langues ... puis décochez les langues que vous ne voulez pas.

Si vous supprimez toutes les langues, l'anglais générique sera utilisé par défaut. Notez que les packages en-US sont considérés comme une langue distincte. Vous devez donc décocher English pour désinstaller ses packages.

Ceci ne s'applique que dans l'interface graphique. Cela n'empêche pas non plus apt-get ou aptitude de rassembler les traductions dans ces versions plus anciennes.
