Essayer d'installer le pilote nvidia pour ubuntu Desktop 18.04 LTS en suivant ce lien . J'ai suivi tous les conseils du lien ci-dessus.
Mais certains ont confondu en termes de: si j'utilise le pilote nvidia ou nouveau? Que j'utilise la bonne version de nvidia ou non? Je voulais utiliser la version 390.
J'utilise Nvidia GTX 1060 et j'utilise Ubuntu Linux Desktop 18.04 LTS.

tandis que le pilote supplémentaire montre que j'utilise le pilote nvidia

Edit2 A essayé ce lien Même l'installation du pilote propriétaire de nvidia n'a pas fonctionné. nouveau est très coincé et ne sort pas même lorsqu'il est répertorié dans la liste noire et a essayé de le supprimer.
Edit 3 Reinstall n'a pas résolu le problème ... semble que ce soit un bug commun comme mentionné ici

puis (a ajouté l'entrée nomodeset)

Edit5 Inversé l'entrée de nomodeset grub pour avoir la résolution normale. Après le redémarrage et en regardant attentivement les fichiers journaux, voici ce que j'ai trouvé (juste les lignes pertinentes)

Edit 8 a également pu réparer mon ordinateur portable Dell XPS 9560. Il faut vérifier ce fichier:
