Je crois toujours que la recommandation de Yahoo a sa source dans l'incapacité de Yahoobot d'utiliser HTTP 1.1. La validation des balises d'entité est différente de la validation par Last-Modified.

@rilwis ETag est destiné à la validation forte : un widget modifié, par exemple, ne change pas Last-Modified mais change ETag. Voir aussi le didacticiel de mise en cache .

Mieux réécrire les règles pour les permaliens WordPress

Par défaut, WordPress envoie une page HTML 404 pour les images et les feuilles de style manquantes - elles ne sont jamais rendues par un navigateur. Et cela attrape vos liens symboliques.

@DanGayle mod_rewrite fonctionne avec regex et est donc légèrement plus lent. Mais vous ne pouvez pas utiliser les règles supplémentaires dont vous avez besoin dans une configuration multisite.
