Suppression de la prise en charge de Gravatar.com pour WordPress et Avatars locaux simples

Actuellement, j'utilise des avatars locaux simples sur plusieurs de mes blogs permettant aux gens de télécharger leur propre avatar personnalisé.

Pour autant que je sache, Simple Local Avatars utilise get_avatarpour vérifier si un avatar personnalisé est sélectionné, sinon par défaut Gravatar.com.

Serait-il possible de désactiver le bit Gravatar.com d'une manière ou d'une autre, de désactiver complètement Gravatar.com et de renvoyer uniquement une image hébergée locale si aucun avatar personnalisé n'est sélectionné?

La description du plugin devrait être explicite, mais essentiellement l'avatar par défaut est http://wordpress-theme-path/images/default_avatar.png, qui peut être filtré dans le functions.php de votre thème s'il existe ailleurs;

J'ai réussi à remplacer tous les avatars gravitar.com par ma propre image d'avatar hébergée localement en l'ajoutant au function.phpfichier de mon thème :

Cela suppose que vous ayez un avatar local par défaut appelé user.pngdans le imagessous - répertoire de votre thème .

Dans le discussion settingspanneau d'administration, assurez-vous que "Afficher les avatars" est coché.

Je n'ai pas testé cela avec des avatars locaux simples, mais cela fonctionne très bien avec les avatars utilisateur de base (qui est une fourche légère des avatars locaux simples).

CONSEIL : Si vous concevez votre propre avatar par défaut, je recommande de le faire en 300x300 pixels pour qu'il apparaisse bien sur les écrans "rétine" lorsque WP l'affiche à "150x150". Ensuite, vous pouvez réduire considérablement la taille du fichier de l'image en la compressant sur tinyPNG.com .

Retirez complètement les avatars. Mettez ce code dans functions.php à partir de votre thème en cours d'utilisation.
