Debian 6 sur HP proliant (2 CPU) avec raid (2 * 1.5T RAID1 + 2 * 2T RAID1 a rejoint RAID0 pour faire 3.5T) fonctionnant principalement nfs et imapd (plus samba pour le partage Windows et www local pour prévisualiser les pages Web); avec le client de bureau ubuntu local montant $ HOME, les ordinateurs portables accèdent aux fichiers imap et impairs (par exemple des vidéos) via nfs / smb; boîtiers connectés 100baseT ou wifi via un routeur / commutateur domestique

Le programme d'installation fonctionne depuis des mois, mais a tendance à être très lent par intermittence (expérience utilisateur sur le bureau $ HOME depuis un serveur ou un ordinateur portable en train de lire des vidéos) et maintenant tellement mauvais que j'ai dû m'y plonger pour essayer de trouver ce qui ne va pas (! )
Le serveur semble OK à faible charge, par exemple un client (ordinateur portable) (avec $ HOME sur le disque local) se connectant au serveur imapd et au montage nfs RAID pour accéder à 1 fichier: le haut affiche la charge ~ 0,1 ou moins, 0 attente
mais quand le client (de bureau) monte $ HOME et démarre la session utilisateur KDE (tous les serveurs accédant), puis le haut montre par exemple

Je pense donc que j'ai une idée du problème, mais je ne suis pas un expert en administration système Linux par le plus éloigné de l'imagination et j'apprécierais vraiment quelques indices ici avec mon diagnostic et que dois-je faire:
- de toute évidence, je dois trouver un autre lecteur pour sdc. (Je suppose que je pourrais acheter un disque plus grand si le prix est correct: je pense qu'un jour, je devrai augmenter la taille de la baie et ce serait un disque de moins à remplacer par un plus grand)
- puis utilisez mdadm pour faire tomber le sdc existant, retirez-le et installez le nouveau lecteur
- fdisk le nouveau disque avec la même partition de taille pour la baie que l'ancien
- utilisez mdadm pour ajouter le nouveau lecteur dans le module RAID
ça sonne bien?
