UNC SMART Error est-il sérieux? besoin d'agir?

J'ai un Western Digital Raptor 300G, montrant récemment UNC SMART, se demandant si quelqu'un qui a de l'expérience sait que je devrais le remplacer et obtenir le formulaire de garantie WD?

Faites le remplacement si vous le pouvez.

En revanche, ce ne sont que des erreurs de lecture qui ne sont pas si mauvaises. Si vous écrivez dans ce secteur, vous ne pouvez être sûr que s'il présente des défauts.

Je voudrais exécuter l'utilitaire du vendeur pour vérifier (ils exécutent également des tests intelligents) s'il a des problèmes. Ils mettent généralement à disposition des CD amorçables.

Vous pouvez et devez exécuter un auto-test que vous pouvez faire à partir de Linux en émettant

smartctl -t long /dev/your-device

attendez quelques heures (il affichera une estimation). Ensuite, vérifiez à nouveau avec

smartctl -a /dev/your-device

S'il dit que Completed without errorsvous allez bien. Sinon, optez pour l'utilitaire du vendeur pour vérifier le lecteur.

Les erreurs de lecture peuvent être causées par quelque chose d'aussi simple que la perte de puissance pendant une opération d'écriture. Seuls, ils ne suggèrent aucun problème matériel avec le lecteur.
