Le script d'initialisation ne crée pas de fichier PID

J'ai besoin de créer un script d'initialisation pour un enregistreur IRC. J'ai copié /etc/init.d/skeleton. J'ai rempli la section de configuration pour répondre à mes besoins et j'ai également dû ajouter --background à la commande start daemon car mon enregistreur IRC ne se séparait pas. L'enregistreur démarre correctement lorsque j'utilise mon script init, mais il ne crée pas le fichier .pid comme il se doit. Par conséquent, le processus ne peut être arrêté que si je découvre moi-même l'ID du processus et le tue. Voici le script:

Ajoutez l' --make-pidfileoption à votre appel de start-stop-daemon. --pidfileindique seulement à start-stop-daemon où chercher le pidfile, sans --make-pidfilesupposer que ce pidfile est créé par le programme à lancer, et non par start-stop-daemon.

Haha ça a du sens. Je me demande pourquoi le script d'initialisation squelette fourni avec Ubuntu n'a pas cela. Bizarre.
