Où sont mes fichiers postgres * .conf?

J'ai récemment réinstallé postgresql 8.3 sur mon Ubuntu 8.04 après la mise à jour. Package EnterpriseDB utilisé. Je peux me connecter à la base de données localement, je vois des postgres DB système mais je ne peux pas le configurer car je ne trouve pas les fichiers de configuration. Recherche dans tout le disque dur et n'a trouvé que des échantillons commepg_hba.conf.sample

Où sont les postgres fichiers * .conf ?

Dans le cas où vous recherchez le fichier de démarrage de sql, il est appelé .psqlrcet vous pouvez l'ouvrir avec un éditeur de texte dans votre terminal.

ils sont dans le répertoire de données ... l'utilisateur par défaut ne peut pas y arriver donc je ne les ai pas trouvés.

C'est l'emplacement par défaut, mais vous pouvez le changer lorsque vous démarrez PostgreSQL. Voir pg_clt -D, consultez postgresql.org/docs/current/interactive/app-pg-ctl.html

Je ne sais pas si locateon peut s'y fier car le fichier ainsi que son répertoire peuvent être accessibles exclusivement par postgres ou l' productsutilisateur uniquement.

Je ne ferais pas confiance à la sortie de Locate. Imaginez ces étapes: Postgres version x est installé, updatedb lit l'emplacement de tous les fichiers, postgres est mis à niveau vers la version x + 1. Maintenant, les données de localisation mises en cache sont trop anciennes .... Ce n'est pas fiable.

Où sont mes fichiers postgres * .conf?

Recherchez la base de données avec la requête SQL:

SHOW config_file;

La raison pour laquelle vous pouvez avoir du mal à le trouver postgresql.confest qu'il appartient à postgres, pas à root.

Voici où est le mien sur Fedora 17:

[root@defiant /]# ll /var/lib/pgsql/data/postgresql.conf 

Notez qu'il appartient à postgres :

Il a l'autorisation 600, ce qui explique pourquoi vous avez du mal à le trouver avec une recherche de fichiers. L'emplacement de postgresql.confsera différent selon le système d'exploitation que vous utilisez.

Si vous venez de l'installer, il est possible que cela locaten'aide pas. Dans ce cas, le service doit être en cours d'exécution et vous pouvez exécuter

ps aux  | grep 'postgres *-D'

pour voir d'où le postgresql-master charge les fichiers de configuration.

La réponse peut être que vous n'avez pas encore initialisé la base de données. Après l'installation de postgres, mais avant l'initialisation de la base de données, les fichiers postgres * .sql seront absents. Après l'initialisation de la base de données, les fichiers postgres * .sql apparaîtront. (Centos 6, Postgres 9.3 illustré ici)

[root@localhost /]# yum -y install postgresql93 postgresql93-server 
[root@localhost /]# ls /var/lib/pgsql/9.3/data/

Comme je n'ai pas accès au compte postgres (donc je ne peux pas l'exécuter SHOW config_file) et que mon postgres est installé sur Windows, aucune des réponses ne m'a aidé, donc je partage mon emplacement de fichier pour les futurs lecteurs Windows:

C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.5\data


Cela a changé avec postgresql 10. Je mettrai à jour ce commentaire quand je le trouverai

Imprimer l'emplacement du fichier pg_hba.conf:

su - postgres -c "psql -t -P format=unaligned -c 'show hba_file';"

Imprimer l'emplacement du fichier postgresql.conf:

su - postgres -c "psql -t -P format=unaligned -c 'SHOW config_file';"

J'aime ce fil parce qu'il documente les emplacements par défaut pour divers fichiers postgresql.conf sur diverses architectures ...

Cependant , j'ai également eu des ennuis en me basant sur ces valeurs par défaut sur les installations où ils ont spécifié des emplacements alternatifs. Une façon de savoir où se trouve un fichier de configuration particulier en interrogeant directement la base de données:

select * from pg_settings where name='config_file'

Supprimez la whereclause pour voir tous les paramètres, qui peuvent également être éclairants car ils indiquent où se trouvent les répertoires de données, pg_hba.conf, etc.

Dans CentOS 7 avec PostgreSQL 9.4, il se trouve dans le répertoire suivant:

/var/lib/pgsql/9.4/data

Je peux le voir lorsque je suis connecté en tant que root.

sur MacOS Mojave où j'avais l'habitude brew install postgresqld'installer, je l'ai trouvé ici

/usr/local/var/postgres/postgresql.conf

J'ai obtenu ceci en utilisant la commande sql suivante citée dans cette réponse ici:

psql -U postgres -c 'SHOW config_file'

Si vous avez suivi le livre blanc publié par Amazon pour l'installation de Postgresql sur AWS, qui comprenait la création d'un répertoire / data / sur un système de fichiers monté sur un volume EBS distinct, alors votre fichier postgresql.conf se trouve dans / data /

D'où je conclus que le fichier est créé lors de l'initialisation du répertoire de données, et réside à la racine du répertoire de données. Pour une installation par défaut, cela semble être / var / lib / pgsql / data, mais pas si vous avez déplacé le répertoire de données

Mon installation n'est pas par défaut, mais vous pouvez aller dans le répertoire Postgres et trouver le sous-répertoire \ Data.

Fichiers de configuration C: \ Postgres \ Data \ postgresql.conf C: \ Postgres \ Data \ pg_hba.conf


Le système d'exploitation en question est Linux.
