J'ai installé des applications sur un disque dur externe, car je n'ai pas assez d'espace libre sur le lecteur de mon macbook. Malheureusement, macbook se comporte vraiment étrangement quelques fois par jour.
Fondamentalement, il se fige complètement (bien que la vidéo youtube continue de jouer si cela se produit) et je ne peux rien faire - la souris, le clavier et le pavé tactile ne fonctionnent pas et je ne peux les éteindre qu'en appuyant plus longtemps sur le bouton d'alimentation.
Je pense que cela ne se produit que lorsque quelque chose tourne à partir de ce lecteur externe.

Ce lecteur doit-il être formaté avec NTFS? Vous ne mentionnez pas si vous partagez ce lecteur avec des processeurs Windows. Si ce lecteur se connecte à Windows, modifiez votre question (ou votre commentaire) en conséquence. Si ce lecteur est uniquement utilisé sur ce système (et sur d’autres systèmes Mac OS X), reformatez-le avec Utilitaire de disque à l’aide de Mac OS X journalisé.

Mise en forme journalisé est la méthode standard de formatage de disque pour Mac OS X et n'a pas été mentionné comme une solution à la question: ne pas utiliser NTFS va résoudre le problème. Si vous n'avez pas du tout besoin de NTFS, ne l'utilisez pas!

Apple inclut une prise en charge NTFS limitée , mais la plupart des disques NTFS ont besoin d'un logiciel tiers pour fonctionner de manière plus fiable que les pilotes Apple. Certaines implémentations NTFS sont meilleures que d'autres, mais si vous n'avez jamais besoin de connecter ce lecteur à un ordinateur Windows, le format natif OS X est préférable. Vous n'avez pas mentionné le type d'interface auquel ce lecteur est suspendu. USB? FireWire 400/800? Coup de tonnerre?
